Information, FAQ, And Rules:
The Scenario:
Your character wakes up on a gurney in a darkened room in an unmanned facility. They are surrounded by strange high tech equipment. the only light comes from a series of monitors that are clearly monitoring pulse and respiratory function. What they illuminate is surreal and alien. Tanks of strange green fluid, tubing and pumps. Unidentifiable machines click and whir. The walls are solid brushed metal, and beneath their feet is a grated floor. This facility seems more geared towards manufacture or maintenance than anything else. There's only one door, and it's far to small to move any of this large equipment in or out of.
The monitors black out and for a breif moment your character is bathed in darkness. Suddenly a series of flashing lights appear in sequence, seeming to lead outside. If the room was small and cramped the hall outside is absolutely cavernous. Easily large enough to accommodate even the largest mobile suit. The appearance of a maintenance facility is only strengthened, but everything seems to be automated. At the end of the hall is a truly massive circular room, occupied only by a gigantic machine.
A walkway leads up to the machine and a single panel, which automatically activates as your character approaches. The read out displays only the characters name, and with a deafening noise the machinery comes to life, and only moments later great panels open to reveal... Gundam.
The panel read out changes to display only the words "All systems green," and the cockpit opens. The fight is only about to begin...
What is Gundam Dynasty?
Mobile Suit Gundam Dynasty is a metafandom action roleplay community dedicated to the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise based on the Original Scenario in the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series. Emphasis is on mobile suit combat, and there will be no shortage of chances to fight!
Setting:
The setting is a strange, deserted world. On Arrival your character will quickly notice there are no people other than those that came the same way they did- only an endless army of unmanned drone mobile suits. Strangely, there are facilities to repair your mobile suit, and storage facilities that hold supplies and food- But they're all unmanned and fiercely guarded by the drones. To survive your character will have to fight and take advantage of these facilities. But why are they here? How did they arrive? What secrets lie at the core of this world?
Characters:
Gundam Dynasty is open to characters from all Gundam animated, CG, or Live Action series. Characters from video games and canon-side stories are also allowed. Our only requirement is that characters be from series with readily available, complete English translations (Official releases are preferred but not required). Original Characters are not currently permitted. Non pilot characters are welcomed, and can obtain mobile suits. If they have no canon mobile suit one can be decided on. Mobile suits are not required, and a character can be played as a complete non-combatant. They will still be given the ability to use communication devices such as radios or communicators.
Applications/Player restrictions:
Gundam Dynasty is a musebox/PSL/meme setting, applications and requests are not required. Duplicates are allowed, and will be considered canonical to and a quirk of the setting. There is no limit on characters allowed from the same player, and player-cest (playing multiple characters from the same series, threading between multiple characters played by the same player) is technically allowed, although obviously not preferred.
Mobile Suits/Mechs:
Your character has their mobile suit! Our only request is that for the sake of balance, all characters enter with their first, most basic mobile suit, with no super-mode/hyper-mode/transformation/super-ultimate-god-form available at the start. For the sake of ease, your mobile suits have been modified in this universe, through some unknown meansmagic, your weapons no longer consume ammunition, even if they're using physical bullets. Characters CAN upgrade to stronger suits in time! If you're confused about which mobile suit your character would start with, please contact the moderator account

Battleships:
There will be a limited number of warships available, mostly to act as living quarters and stations for characters and to give noncombatant characters a place to live.
Death:
Characters CAN die in the line of combat... However, Gundam Dynasty is a land of eternal conflict. Death does not release ones from the bonds of war. Shortly after death- within 24-72 hours usually, a character who has been killed by any means will find themselves awakening in the same facility they initially arrived, with any damage sustained to their bodies completely regenerated to the condition they first arrived in. For example, a character who has lost a limb while in Gundam Dynasty will have that limb restored- however, Andrew Waltfeld from Gundam Seed Destiny might have newly aquired injuries restored but would not regain his eye or arm.
If a character's mobile suit has was destroyed beyond simple repair at the time of their death, it will also be repaired and restored. There is no penalty regarding character death- however, the character will remember every traumatic detail of their own demise afterwards.
Remember, your character and their related characters will have no way of knowing before death that they will be returned to life. Plese refrain from abusing the death system. A character should not die repeatedly over and over through the course of the game. This system is intended to add to the myster and freedom of the game.
More importantly, although there is no major penalty to character death, please do not use it as an excuse to drastically deviate in characterization of a character. While traumatic experiences will cause a character to grow and change, their core personality should remain the same and as close to canon as possible.
Posting/Writing rules and conventions:
Posts can be in the first, second, or third person- Just try to keep it consistent.
Battle Etiqutte:
In fights between player characters, please speak with and discuss the outcome of a battle beforehand to avoid issues with godmoding. Never try to force another player to go your way in a battle, and if you feel you're being unfairly pushed in directions you aren't comfortable with, please discuss it with a moderator. This ties in heavily with godmoding, and in a game with a premise that revolves around player fights this is pretty important.
